Great day

Hello!

Today I'm showing you a card I made for my grandmother. I love sending her cards to tell her I'm thinking about her. I was first inspired by SSS Monday challenge Leap into the unknown. When I make a card, I usually think about everything before starting it. For this one, I didn't have any plan or idea, I just knew I wanted to use my Memory Box tree die on the card.

I made 2 trees dies cut and stamped some flowers directly on my background, aligning them with the trees. For more dimension, I then glued the trees on the stamping so some flowers would appear behind the trees. I also stamped the flowers on another cardstock and hand cut them as I didn't want the full branch. I colored everything with Spectrum Noir markers, using colors matching my background patterned paper. For some texture (SSS Wednesday challenge), I added Stickles inside the flowers. Then, I stamped my sentiment with SSS ink.

I'm submitting my card to these challenges:
- Memory Box challenge #10 Blossoms and bunnies (used tall birch die)
- Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Take a leap into the unknown
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Touchy feely
- Addicted to Stamps Challenge #121 Glitter/bling
- Simon Says Stamp Work it February: Floral challenge

Material used:
- Die: Tall birch (Memory Box)
- Stamps: Blooming garden (Penny Black), souhaits (Lime Citron)
- Spectrum Noir markers: CR6+CR8+PL3
- Ink: Blue Violet (Simon Says Stamp)
- Stickles: Stardust (Ranger)
- Patterned paper (DCVW)

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Thank you card

Hello,

Today, I’m showing you my latest thank you card. I will send it to a friend who loves gardening. I first made my card by stamping the flower stamp in habanero and green. I applied the color directly on the stamp, carefully because I applied two different colors (flowers/leafs). Then, I applied yellow, pink and green Stickles on the stamping. The tree and the fence are dies cut from Memory Box. I hand cut the owl stamp and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. I made my background by sponging Distress inks, stamped my sentiment in black Versafine ink and embossed it. I choose a pink patterned paper for my card and on the bottom, I glued 3 pink sequins and added a pink line of Stickles.

Material used:
-          Stamps: CL755 (Hero Arts), Spring Sprigs (Stampendous), Good day! (Penny Black)
-          Dies: Tall birch, Wrought iron fence (Memory Box)
-          Stickles: Yellow, Fruit punch, Lime green (Ranger)
-          Pink sequins
-          Spectrum Noir markers: CG4+LG5, CR2+CR1, GB3+GB5, EB6+EB5, GB8+GB9, FS2+FS3+TN2
-          Inks: Onyx black, Habanero, Spanish moss (Versafine), Shabby shutters, tumbled glass (Distress)
-          Patterned paper  (Recollections)

Also cut another snow hill to put in the background. Then, with 2 different dies, I made the trees and added on them and the snow hills Stickles for some sparkle. Finally, I put shaved ice in the shaker card!

I'm entering this card into these challenges:

Material used:
- Stamp: Whoots (Art Impressions)
- Dies: Tall birch (Memory Box), Snow Covered Stacker Tree (Dee's Distinctively)
- Shaved ice (Stampendous)

Another project for today

Hi all,

Today, I made a second project. After my scrapbook page, I decided to do another Christmas card. I love making holiday cards! The card was not too difficult to make but just very long due to all the hand cutting. So I made the tree with 2 dies cut I had (the tree and the branch, which I die cut twice) on brown card stock and with my Versamark pen, I randomly added ink and added white embossing powder to create a snow effect. Then, I colored with Spectrum markers and hand cut the owls stamp from Art Impressions (did that in front of the tv, it took me forever lol). I added some stickles on the hats and the sentiment (Happy New Year).

I'm entering this card into these challenges:
- Art Impressions Challenge 174 :New Years card or funny resolution (I made a New Year card)
- Memory Box challenge #7 Season's Greetings
- SSS Wednesday challenge - Let It Snow (this challenge was also showcasing Art Impressions products, which makes this card perfect for this challenge!!)
- SSS Monday Challenge - Holly Jolly Stamping
- Lime Citron Cartes de Noël - semaine 4

Material used:
- Stamps: Whoots (Art Impressions), ksouhaits (Lime Citron)
- Dies cut: Tall birch, Woodland branch (Memory Box), Fancy tags 1 (Spellbinders)
- Patterned paper: DCWV
- Spectrum noir markers: BT8+BT7, IB2+IB3
- Stickles: Waterfall, Crystal (Ranger)
- Ink: Deep lagoon (Versafine)
- Embossing powders: White opaque (Stampendous), Super fine detail clear (Ranger)

Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are always appreciated!

Noël

Bon lundi matin! Good morning all,

Aujourd'hui, je participe à plusieurs challenges avec ma nouvelle carte de Noël que j'ai d'ailleurs réalisée avec de nouveaux dies achetés dans un magasin de scrapbooking (difficile de résister hein!)

Voici les challenges auxquels je participe/Here are the challenges I'm entering:

- SSS Wednesday Christmas challenge
- Lime Citron - Cartes de Noël
- Memory Box Glitter challenge

Voici ma carte, Here is my card:

Pour la faire, j'ai tout d'abord encré mon fond en bleu, avec de l'encre Distress. Puis, j'ai ajouté les dies d'arbres et de cerfs. J'ai découpé la neige à la main et étampé le souhait avec de la poudre à embosser blanche. Ensuite, j'ai embossé des grains de poudre à embosser pour faire un effet neige et j'ai ajouté du stickles sur la bordure de neige pour faire un effet scintillant!

To make my card, I sponged some blue distress ink. Then, I added the wood and deer dies. I hand cutted the snow and stamped the wish with white embossing powder. I added more white embossing powder to make the snow and added some stickles on the snow to make a glitter effect!

Merci pour votre visite et vos commentaires, Thank you for your visit and comments!

Matériel utilisé:
Étampe: Joyeuses fêtes (Lime Citron)
Dies: Mama and baby deer (Memory Box), into the woods (Penny Black)
Poudres à embosser: White opaque, Chunky white embossing enamel (Stampendous)
