Last holiday card?

Hi all,

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I just made a holiday card, maybe the last one for this year? Who knows, I just love making holiday cards, even in July! ha ha.

The stamp was colored with Spectrum Noir markers and Stickles was added on the leaves and berries. Final touch with some sequins and voilà!

Chant de Noël

Bonjour à tous,

Aujourd'hui, je retourne à mes anciennes amours: le coloriage aux crayons Tombow. J'ai voulu faire une carte plus clean and simple, mais où les étampes sont mises de l'avant. J'aime beaucoup le dégradé des Tombow, quel bel effet. Un peu de stickles sur les flocons et la bordure par terre et c'est tout. Voici ma carte:

Snowy wishes

Hi all,

Here is my latest card. I made the background using the same technique as yesterday by sponging Distress inks. Then I added the embossing powder for the snow fall and glued shaved ice for the bottom. The white background is embossed using an embossing folder and the sentiment is a peel-off.

For the snowman, I stamped and colored it with Spectrum noir markers and added glitter on his body (just a pinch!). Then, I it cut out and mounted it on 2D foam. This snowman is a great stamp because it can be used upside down as well.

Another winter scene

Hi all,

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I just made another winter scene card and I LOVE it! I made the background with two Distress inks, I love the blending between both blues. Then, made the trees with a die and hand cut the tree trunk in a brown cardstock. Stamped the deer and the fox, which I colored using a brown Spectrum noir marker. I mounted it on 2D foam, as well as the snow hills (which I previously hand cut as well). I stamped the holiday sentiment. Then, I added Stickles on the snow hills and white embossing powder for the snow fall as a final touch.

Noël en or

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai décidé de faire une autre carte de Noël hi hi..  J'ai tout d'abord travaillé mon fond avec deux encres Distress et j'ai ensuite vaporisé de l'eau pour faire un effet de neige discret. J'ai ensuite étampé la belle étampe de Magenta que j'ai embossé en or. J'ai maté le tout sur un papier doré pour faire un rappel et ajouté le ruban avec la belle ligne dorée. Visiblement, j'avais le goût de mettre du doré aujourd'hui!

I'm disappointed the gold embossing powder doesn't shine more on the picture..!

Glossy holidays

Hello,

Thanks for visiting my blog today! I just made another holidays card. This time, I used alcohol inks to make my background. Then, I stamped 4 different type of snowflakes, randomly on the background and embossed them in white. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum paper and attached it with white brads. Mounted my background on 2D foam and white cardstock. Voilà!

Noël mauve

Bonjour à tous,

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente ma dernière carte de Noël, cette fois-ci en mauve. J'aime vraiment cette couleur, cela fait changement des traditionnels rouge et vert. Contrairement à mes deux autres cartes du même style, j'ai tout d'abord étampé les deux étampes avec la Versamark sur le papier blanc, que j'ai ensuite embossé avec de la poudre transparente. Ensuite, j'ai créé mon fond mauve avec l'encre Distress. Par défaut, l'embossage résiste à l'encre Distress donc les étampes ressortent bien en blanc. J'ai ensuite vaporisé des gouttelettes d'eau de différentes tailles. Puis, j'ai embossé des grains de poudre dorée et blanche déposés aléatoirement sur la carte pour faire un bel effet scintillant.
