- Étampes: flèches, mini-kit project life 3, zamours, étiquettes, mini-kit calendrier (Lime Citron)
- Badges (Lime Citron)
- Papier de fond: the textures & finishes stack (DCWV)
- Encres: Wedding dress (Irresistible), smokey gray (Versafine)
- Embellissements: coin photo métal jaune, attaches parisiennes (barre jaune, fleur)
- Autocollants: Cupids Arrow (My Mind's Eye)
- Triangles en bois (Studio Calico)

I'm also submitting this page at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Anything goes.

Party time!

Hi!

I made another shaker card, using the same technique as yesterday, recycling a coca-cola box and a plastic packaging instead of using an acetate. For this card, I cut out 2 ladies and the 3 balloons out of the Party Girls stamp. For more dimension, I put one lady inside the shaker and another one outside. I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I covered the balloons with Stickles. I put the sequins inside and closed everything. Voilà!

I'm submitting my card to these challenges:
Art Impressions challenge #178 Shake, rattle & roll
Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Recycle/Upcycle
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Shake it up
Seize the birthday: Anything Goes

Material used:
- Stamps: Party Girls (Art Impressions), sentiment (Bonnidée)
- Dies: Labels 18 (Spellbinders), Resplendent rectangles (Spellbinders)
- Stickles: Patina, Lavender, Fruit punch (Ranger)
- Patterned papers: Recollections, DCVW
- Spectrum Noir markers
- Sequins

Thank you for stopping by!

A recycled shaker card

Hello!

Last night I made a birthday card for my brother. This is my second shaker card and I must say I really enjoyed using this technique explained by Karen Day on Art Impressions' blog (click on the link for all the details). Very easy and so versatile, it works with so many dies. So I first cut out my frame out of a coca-cola box 4 times and one last time from a blue patterned paper.

I kept the center of the blue die cut to use it as my shaker background. I stamped and embossed in white the music notes and my sentiment (Happy Birthday). I added the sequins and colored the hoot's hat with the same colors.  As always, I added some Stickles on the hat. My card's background is made with a patterned paper and I glued on it a flower I cut out from another patterned paper. The hoot is mounted on 2D foam and on the frame. Voilà!

I'm submitting my card to these challenges:
- Art Impressions challenge #178 Shake, rattle & roll
- Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Recycle/Upcycle
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Shake it up
- Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday January: Use something new (used a new technique)
- Seize the birthday: Anything goes

Material used:
- Stamps: Music Notes (Art Impressions), Birthday hoot (Art Impressions), Bonne fête (Simple à souhait)
- Die: Labels 2 (Spellbinders)
- Spectrum Noir markers
- Patterned papers: Recollections, DCVW
- Sequins
- Stickles: Stardust (Ranger)

Black&Blue card

Hello all,

It's been a long time I had this great Starbursts stamp from Hero Arts and never had the chance (or the time?) to use it! Today is the day. This stamp is so versatile as it can also look as flower when you put a center inside them don't you think? This card took me much more time to make and I'm very satisfied with the result. I already made more backgrounds for my next time I will show you soon.

So I first sprayed Lindy's stamp gang ink on a white cardstock. It was also my first time using this ink and wow, I just LOVE the two colors ink. It doesn't appear much on my picture but this ink is brown with blue metallic inside. Amazing effect. After the ink was dry, I stamped twice the starbursts stamp in black and once in blue and then, embossed it. I added blue and black Stickles inside so it looks more as flowers. I also added blue & black twines and made them go through my button. I like recycling stuff, so I used this black button my grand mother gave me when she did some cleaning in her sewing stuff. Then, I mounted my card on a blue patterned paper and then on a black cardstock.

I'm entering these challenges with my card:
Hero Arts: Fabulous Flowers challenge
A blog named hero: A bit of sparkle challenge
- Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Recycle/Upcycle Style
- Simon Says Stamp Work It Wesdesnday January: Use something new (first time using this stamp and Lindy's ink)

Material used:
- Stamp: Starbursts (Hero Arts)
- Inks: Moon Shadow Mist (Lindy's Stamp Gang), Deep Lagoon, Onyx black (Versafine)
- Twines: Primary assortment (Doodlebug design)
- Stickles: True blue, Black diamond (Ranger)

Hello,

I just finished my last thank you card for a friend. She sent me a lot of tomatoes and pepper seeds lately  so I thought a thank you card with flowers would be perfect for her. I used the same stamp as last time, Delicate Blossoms and the Butterflies stamp/die set from HA. I colored the stamp with Spectrum Noir markers. For my butterflies, I first inked a glossy cardstock with 3 alcohol inks. Next time, I will use colors that contrast more. I then added some Stickles on their wings and Liquid pearl on their body. I made the drops with Irresistible inks.

I'm submitting my card to these challenges:
Hero Arts: Fabulous Flowers challenge
A blog named hero: A bit of sparkle challenge
Addicted to stamps Challenge #120 - Die cut

Stamps and dies: Delicate Blossoms (Hero Arts), Butterflies (Hero Arts / Sizzix) and sentiment from Artemio

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

To celebrate this day, I made another card. I might give it only next year as I already made my card for this year he he. I don't know about you but I have tons of ribbons and buttons I'm not using much. When I first started scrapbooking, I enjoyed ribbons and buttons and now, I'm more into inks. So for this card, I challenged myself to use those items on my card. I like so much this stamp from Art Impressions I decide to use it again this week:

I first randomly arranged many ribbons on my patterned paper. I then added my main image (hand cut to keep the cat's tail) and my sentiment (Happy Valentine's Day). I colored the animals with Tombow markers. I created flowers with felt and buttons. I'm submitting this card to these two challenges:
- Art Impressions Challenge #177 Love, love, love
- Addicted to stamps Challenge #120 - Die cut

Material used:
- Stamps: Fur-ever (Art Impressions), sentiment (Bonnidée)
- Dies: Lacey ovals (Spellbinders), Small tag frame (Hero Arts)
- Patterned paper: K&Company
- Various ribbons and buttons
- Tombow markers

Défi de février - Lime Citron

Bonjour,

- Étampes: Ronds couture, texture flèches, miniatures, petits mots, 6 mots, mini-kit project life (Lime Citron)
- Badges: Love en gris (Lime Citron)
- Die: Feuillage (Lime Citron)
- Lettrage: Speckled brown eggs (Jillibean soup)

- Étampes: Ronds #3 (Simple à Souhait), All you need (Penny Black), Tendre texte d'amour (Magenta), Amour (Doodlebug Design)
- Peel-off: Little bird told me (Magenta)
- Plaque d'embossage: Kassie's Brocade (Cuttlebug)
- Encres: Lipstick Red (Simon Says Stamp), Tattered rose (Distress), VersaMark, Satin Red (Versafine)

Thank you card

Hello,

Today, I’m showing you my latest thank you card. I will send it to a friend who loves gardening. I first made my card by stamping the flower stamp in habanero and green. I applied the color directly on the stamp, carefully because I applied two different colors (flowers/leafs). Then, I applied yellow, pink and green Stickles on the stamping. The tree and the fence are dies cut from Memory Box. I hand cut the owl stamp and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. I made my background by sponging Distress inks, stamped my sentiment in black Versafine ink and embossed it. I choose a pink patterned paper for my card and on the bottom, I glued 3 pink sequins and added a pink line of Stickles.

Material used:
-          Stamps: CL755 (Hero Arts), Spring Sprigs (Stampendous), Good day! (Penny Black)
-          Dies: Tall birch, Wrought iron fence (Memory Box)
-          Stickles: Yellow, Fruit punch, Lime green (Ranger)
-          Pink sequins
-          Spectrum Noir markers: CG4+LG5, CR2+CR1, GB3+GB5, EB6+EB5, GB8+GB9, FS2+FS3+TN2
-          Inks: Onyx black, Habanero, Spanish moss (Versafine), Shabby shutters, tumbled glass (Distress)
-          Patterned paper  (Recollections)

Friendship scrapbooking page

Hi all,

I just finished a scrapbook page on friendship. Last summer, we went at Toronto Islands with friends and we had a great sunny day. Scrapbooking allows me to keep great memories of all those wonderful moments in our life. So instead of submitting another card to these challenges, I decided to create a scrapbook page. I hope you enjoy it. All stamps on this page are from Impression Obsession.

I first made this page by stamping various IO stamps with SSS inks. Then, I dropped some Irresistible inks and sponged it with a napkin to give more color to my background. I mated my photo on a yellow cardstock and added my title. For more dimension to my page, I added 2 badges and twines around them. Then, I wrote some journaling and voilà!

I'm submitting this scrapbook page to these challenges:
- Impression Obsession: Friends Forever (all stamps are from IO, see list below)
- Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Ray of Sunshine  (my yellow ink makes a great ray of sunshine)

Material used:
- Stamps: H18004, D13124, D13123 (Impression Obsession)
- Badges (Lime Citron)
- Twine: Primary assortment (Doodlebug Design)
- Inks: Teal Zeal, Electric Yellow (Irresistible), Blue Violet, Green Leaf, Sunshine, Island Blue (Simon Says Stamp)
- Letters: Happy Place (Sassafras)

Thanks for stopping by!

I love you

Hi all,

Valentine's Day is approaching fast so I made a card with a great stamp from Art Impressions I had.

I first mounted on a cream cardstock a multicolor patterned paper I had. Then, on another cream cardstock, I stamped and clear embossed my two stamps. I stamped the "love you" twice to make a heart effect. I sponged some Distress ink on my both cardstocks so the stamps would appear in cream with the resist technique. I chose green patterned papers as well so the card would be a bit more masculine and there would be more contrast. My main stamp was stamped with Versafine ink and I hand cut it to keep the cat's tail. I colored it with Tombow markers. Final touch by adding 3 bling stones.

I'm submitting this card to these challenges:
- Art Impressions #177: Love, love, love!
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Have a Heart
- Addicted to Stamps - Anything goes with a stamp

Material used:
- Stamps: Fur-ever (Art Impressions), Amour (Doodlebug Designs), Love you (Florilèges Design)
- Bling: Queen & Co
- Dies: Spellbinders
- Tombow markers: 990+992, 977+969, N79+N57
- Cardstock: Crème (7 Gypsies)
- Ink: Onyx Black (Versafine), Barn door (Distress)

Thanks for stopping by!

- Punchs: Binding edge (EK Success), Film Strip (EK Success)
- Papier de fond: The timeless texture stack (DCWV)
- Boutons divers de ma grand-mère ^_^
- Attaches parisiennes
- Fleurs

Merci pour votre visite!
